アメリカのPower Outage（停電）

日本で停電はほとんどない。

一年にわずか４分だという。



一方、アメリカでは頻発する。

一年に平均214分、つまり３時間34分も停電が起こるのだ（ミネソタ大学調べ、アメリカ北東部）。

これは1984年から比べると３倍も悪化しているとのこと。



その主な原因はというと

1. Aging Infrastructure

2. Increased demand from hotter summers
