「僕たちは勝利する（We are going to win）」U2ボノ

ワエル・ゴニム（Wael Ghonim）のことを 知っている人もいると思う。

エジプト、タリハール広場のデモのきっかけとなったフェイスブックグループのひとつを作った人で、そのために投獄もされている。僕の頭には彼の言葉が刻み込まれている。



「僕たちは勝利する。なぜなら、政治のことを知らないから。

　We are going to win because we don't understand politics.

　僕たちは勝利する。なぜなら、政治家のように汚い手段を使わないから。

　We are going to win because we don't play their dirty games.

　僕たちは勝利する。なぜなら、政治的なアジェンダを持っていないから。

　We are going to win because we don't have a party political agenda.



　僕たちは勝利する。なぜなら、僕たちが流す涙は- 心から流れ出たものだから。

　We are going to win because the tears that come from our eyes actually come from our hearts.

　僕たちは勝利する。なぜなら、僕たちには夢があり - その夢のためなら 喜んで立ち上がるから

　We are going to win because we have dreams, and we're willing to stand up for those dreams.」



ワエルの言うとおりだ（Wael is right）。僕たちがひとつにまとまれば勝つのは僕たちだ（We're going to win if we work together as one）。

なぜなら、団結した人々の力は、権力を持つ者よりもずっと強いのだから（because the power of the people is so much stronger than the people in power）。
